7/26 (Sunday) – Kennett and Avon Canal

It rained off and on today.  So we all settled in and read and enjoyed each other’s company and conversation.  And David’s cooking.

However, the scenery was still lovely to watch.

We stopped mid-day along the canal for another great lunch and then headed off for an afternoon of cruising.

We ended the day in Great Bedwyn.  As usual it was another quaint English village.

And it had some large, old homes with thatched roofs.

The Post Office was in a shop that included some interesting signs on the front.  Including some shaped like tomb stones, telling the stories of those that had died.

Of course, the town had it's lovely quaint village church, St. Mary's.
